Dasun & Harman are celebrating their love for each other with you, their loved ones from around the world. They have organised a range of activities for you to experience the best parts of the tropical paradise they want to share with you. 

Please check out the activities they have organised and pick which ones you’d like to participate in.

Each activity is chartered for Dasun & Harman’s guests so you can explore the reef and rainforest in good company, with Dasun & Harman joining as many activities as they can.

Once you’ve confirmed your activities on the booking form, we’ll send you an itinerary with all the details required about what to bring and where to meet each day etc.

Please note that all of these experiences have a restricted number of participants and it will be a first in first served policy. You don’t need to book all your activities at once but we will need to finalise the activities a couple of months prior to your arrival as they are all private tours just for your group.

There is information about each tour option below. To confirm your booking you need to fill in the details on the form at the bottom of this page and we will invoice you for the cost of your chosen tours.

As easy as putting your feet in the stirrups for a blissful beach ride. Pass through fields of cattle and horses with views toward Mossman Gorge and the Daintree Rainforest, before proceeding to the beach at a leisurely pace. Splash your horse in the shallow warm waters along the shoreline a our team ensure your experience is memorable, enjoyable and safe with a horse to compliment your experience and weight. No prior horse riding experience necessary. We cater for all riders levels of experience and our guides will ensure your comfort and safety on our small personalised trail rides. Transfers included. Additional $15 insurance levy per rider payable on arrival.

OAKS KITCHEN & GARDEN COOKING SCHOOL – THAI STREET FOOD – 8AM-12PM & 4.30PM-8.30PM

Set in four acres of the lush natural surroundings of Oak Beach just south of Port Douglas, learn about the delights of Southeast Asian cuisine using organic produce sourced from the working garden to create dishes prepared in the refreshing outdoor kitchen. Whether you’re a culinary king or a hopeless cook, this is an amazing educational experience learning about produce and technique in a fun environment. In this class you source and learn how to prepare flavourful street food and snacks from around Thailand. Suitable for ages 12 & up. Transfers included.

 

TUESDAY 29TH MAY

UNDINE CAY & OUTER REEF SNORKEL/DIVE/WATERSPORTS ADVENTURE – 8AM-4.30PM

Exclusive charter to Outer Reef and Undine Cay, one of the Great Barrier Reef’s most spectacular locations, for an amazing day of watersports activities including snorkelling, stand-up paddleboarding, wakeboarding, tubing and optional certified and introductory diving. Dive and snorkel the best parts of the reef with the benefits of a small group. The Windswell crew will have sun shelters set up on the pristine sand cay and all your watersports activities ready to go when you get there. This is your chance to swim with the sea life and a dazzling array of tropical coral. You might even spot a minke whale on migration on your way to the reef. Your Outer Reef tour includes  expert guides, a deli-style lunch, water, soft drinks, tea, coffee and afternoon tea. All the dive and snorkelling gear and watersports activities provided as is a safety briefing and instructions for beginners. Explore the magnificent coral gardens of the Agincourt ribbon reefs with Poseidon. The shallow reef lagoons are a great opportunity to see the Great Barrier Reef at its best, with plenty of variety for seasoned and novice divers. Includes morning tea, coffee and muffins on boarding, all snorkelling gear, lycra suits and flotation devices, guided snorkel with marine biologist, reef interpretation talk and tropical buffet lunch with prawns. See the majestic Daintree Rainforest from an amazing perspective gently gliding down the Mossman River. Tour includes tropical fruit tasting, skills session and advanced paddle guides. Suitable for beginners to experienced paddlers, we’ll even take the photos for you so all you have to worry about is soaking up your breathtaking surroundings. Bring your swimmers, towel, a change of clothes and sense of adventure. Transfers included.

 

 

BIKE ‘N’ HIKE ADVENTURES BUMP TRACK TO BEACH RIDE – 8AM-12.15PM & 1PM-5.15PM

Follow the famous Bump track which led to the establishment of Port Douglas. The track was officially founded in 1875 to provide access from the gold mines to the coast, but was thought to have been an Aboriginal hunting trail for many years prior. Apart from its history, the track includes lush tropical rainforest, tranquil streams and waterfalls. The trail itself undulates through single trail, cross country and downhill sections providing riders with some of the best riding and views Tropical North Queensland has to offer. Includes snacks such as muesli bars, muffins, energy drinks and water. All you need is enclosed shoes and a sense of adventure, suitable for novices to experienced. Transfers included.

HOOK UP CHARTERS ESTUARY & INSHORE REEF FISHING – 8AM-12PM & 1PM-5PM

Join Shawry to access to some of the most pristine fishing locations Far North Queensland has to offer. Using an array of techniques, you will be targeting Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, Queenfish, Javelin Fish, Coral Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Nannygai and more. Mud-crabbing is also available. It doesn’t matter if you’re an expert or novice angler, Shawry has all the gear and fishing tips to help you land a beauty. Spend the morning with a local Aboriginal tour guide along the coastal habitats learning about the environment, different foods and medicines utilized from nature,  sample some bush tucker, collect shellfish and try traditional Aboriginal hunting practices, have a go at spear throwing and if you are lucky, catch a mud crab. Visit the rainforest to complete the adventure and cool off in a pristine freshwater stream.
